New Features
- RecipeScan™ – Got a cluttered recipe drawer? Just take a photo of recipe text (handwritten or typed), and a few hours later, it’ll be online and in the apps! Learn more about RecipeScan and watch a demo video of this remarkable service, only on BigOven. Also see our Blog Post on RecipeScan.
- Take and submit photos of recipes right from your Windows Phone! You’ll find this option on any recipe details page. To snap a photo, simply visit the recipe on BigOven, then choose “Submit Photo” from the menu.
- See Recent Raves – these are recipes that have earned 4 and 5 star reviews on BigOven.
- Recipes I’ve Posted – go quickly to a list of recipes you’ve shared on BigOven, either by typing them on our website or by using RecipeScan to enter them by photo or scanner.
- Show Ingredients as Metric – see the details menu of any recipe page. This preference will be remembered for you next time. To change it back, simply visit the recipe detail menu again
- Favorite/Try Soon status now indicated on the recipe details menu
- Easier Sign In – right from the upper corner of the main screen
