These savory holiday dishes will make you all holly jolly.

Just be sure to save room for dessert!

Holiday Grains:

Carbs are always welcome on our plates (and consequently in our bellies), especially during the holiday season.

Wild Rice with Roasted Grapes & Walnuts

Juicy roasted grapes add a pop of subtle sweetness to this satisfying pilaf-style dressing. (Swap in veg broth to make it vegetarian.)

Crispy Brown Butter Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Balsamic Caramelized Mushrooms & Goat Cheese

This cozy dish is the perfect combo of sweet and savory. Creamy goat cheese adds a nice tang. Don’t skimp on that butter!

Holiday Vegetable Sides:

You’ll be going back for seconds if these veggie sides are involved in your merrymaking.

Roasted Beets

Roasted beets are pretty darn low-maintenance. Just season liberally with salt and fresh ground black pepper then dig in. Enjoy these guys hot out of the oven, room temp, or chilled.

Delicata Squash with Miso-Maple Butter

Delicata squash is naturally sweet with a tender skin that you can eat! No need to peel and risk chopping off one of your precious digits.

Holiday Potatoes:

You say potato, I say gimme now!

Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

It’s hard to go wrong with ooey gooey cheesy potatoes. Diced ham adds a nice punch of flavor. Leave out the ham to make this dish meatless, or invite some bacon in on the fun if you’re feeling a bit naughty. (The nice list is overrated.)

Twice Baked Potato Casserole

This crowd-pleaser makes darn good leftovers but there’s a good chance you won’t have any to tuck away for later.
