Eating out can quickly rack up costs and calories. Why not plan your meals to help save time and money? Plus, get the added benefit of spending time with your loved ones over a delicious, more nutritious, homemade meal. Meals enjoyed at home create memories, stories and conversations. The new BigOven menu planner makes it easy to plan meals ahead of time.
Get started with over 350,000 recipes on BigOven or get inspiration from our Get Ideas section. Choose a recipe that strikes your fancy, go to recipe detail, and add it to the menu planner by tapping the red (+) button and choosing Menu Planner. Pick the date and meal option of breakfast, lunch or dinner.
In the menu planner, you can access all of your recipes — Favorites, Try, Added, as well as Custom Folders if you’re a Pro subscriber. To add a recipe to the menu plan, tap the red (+) button to type in one of your recipes, then pick a date and meal option. Opting for takeout or have a certain wine to pair with dinner? Add notes as a reminder or to help you plan what you’re making.
That’s all there is to it! Now you can plan meals a week at a time or a month out. It’s up to you.
We will be adding a handful of features and improvements to the menu planner in the coming months: the ability to edit recipes, transfer items from your menu planner to the grocery list, and much more.
